Cowboy Boots at the Greek Festival!

Today we continued a Tradition that I hope will be a tradition for many years to come! The Greek Festival was this weekend and what a great day it was! We got there early because we learned last year the line is quite the challenge!

The cowboy boots were JV's are they the cutest ever? I love the pics of him in his diaper and boots! It makes me think he is still a little Baby.







Our good friends Misty and George met us there! We met them there last year as well and hope that this will continue.









Griffin loved all the wide open feild to rome around! He loved looking at all the cars. But mailnly just that he could walk anywhere and every where and that is exactly what he did!

Happy 19mo!

My Dearest Griffin,

You are 19mo today! Here are all the cute things you are doing:

You love to still play peek a boo. You will hide behind the cutians in the den and will do this for a good 45mins! You also love to play with the mirror closet doors and leaning on one side where there is just clothes and then leanig on the mirror side where you will then see your self and giggle!

You mummble all day. Your Dee and Pops call it Japanese!

You snort when you laugh which is something you have done in the past but it happens so much more now:)

You have started to say Dee Dee for your Dee! You will say Duck more know but it is more like Duh.

You are loveing other kids. You want to get down and talk to them everywhere we go.

You love to be outside! You will walk up and down the sidewalk and stop right before the street because that is what Dee and Pops taught you!

Your biggest thing is stacking blocks! You love to do this. You started with big blocks and now you stack the little blocks. You stacked 6 just last week!

This month your favorite books are Cliffords Bathtime and Nursery Ryme. Over at Dee and Pops you love your So BIG Elmo book!

You love to go shopping! You love the grocery cart! We shall see how long this lasts!

Sunday School Social!

We had such a great day yesterday! We woke up made it to Sunday school. Stopped by to visit Rita, Andy and Caroline with some yummy food from Atlanta Bread! Which is one of Andy's Favorites! We got some sweet love from baby Caroline!
Jv didn't hold her. He said he would wait till she was older. You think that would change after having one of his own??
We then went home for a whole family nap:)
Then woke up just in time for the Sunday School Social! Which as you can see below was a lot of fun!
We then went to visit Dee and Pops for a family dinner and a visit with the ducks. They have mastered Griffin now. They run as soon as they see him:( He has no fear and runs straight for the pond in the back!
We had a yummy meal and ended the day with a fantastic nights rest!

YEAH!!!!!!!!

Okay this is such a big deal to me as a Mommy! Griffin and I have been working on holding a crayon for months now and he never had any interest! Well, He just took his game with the attached pencil thing and sat it in my lap and held the pencil part right and scribbled! This is so exciting! Mommy is so Proud of you! I know most children have started this but he never had ANY interest and I didn't want to push the issue! Yippee!

Play Room Exstravaganza!

We had super club at our house last Saturday! Let's just say the kids had a BLAST!
This picture above was our play room. I wish I would of taken more pictures because it really doesn't do it justice. The kids had the best time and I am so so glad that we had this huge play room for them to just be kids! I love my new home!

John Van and I are so blessed to have such good friends. We all had a great time and love having this group get together once a month for some good Old Fashion Family Fun!

Christmas in September!

I got home one afternoon and this was what in between my door!
Griffin's Baby Book! That is right! I finally finished turning my blog into a book!
It turned out better than I imagined! It felt like Christmas Day! This whole time that I have blogged is now in a hard back book for him to enjoy! Here is the website for anyone who is interested!

Kick Off Social and Catherines Birthday!

We have a social with our small group every 6 weeks. This one happened to fall on Catherines Birthday so we all got to sing and join in on the fun!





Catherine did not hesitate she took that cup cake and went to town! We all loved it and all decided to join her! They were Yummy!





Griffin was such a good Birthday sport! He kept the party hat on all night!







Rita getting some love from baby Walker! What good practice before her little one comes! We can't wait!

Visits are the best!

Rebecca and her little one came to visit 2 weeks ago! We have been sick over the Labor Day Weekend and still have a little gunk! It took us a while to get back to ourselves.
Our visit with Rebecca was great! She was the friend that was with me the day I had contractions with Griffin. She is a very sweet and special friend! Her son Brice was a preemie and look at him now!
