Gray's Very First Day at School!!!!!

I really think the boys love going to the same school. The Teachers are in love and I am so glad! We are really loving seeing Gray in School. He loves his teachers but calls them by their first name:) (Minus the Ms.) We are seeing some great differences in Griffin as well and are dying to see more!
I pray every night that these two will be the best of friends and so far they are!

Pops took Griffin on his very first Golf Trip! He did great and had so much fun!

Summary Of Our Summer

The Kiddos Pool Social

Every year we have the small group and there adorable kids over to swim. This is one of my favorites. The adults meet once a week but we don't get to see the kids every week. It is so fun to see them changing! I am in love with Noelle and her watermelon. I think I took 10 pictures of her alone! It was hard not to post them all! Gray was definitely loving the watermelon as well!

The Soul Sisters, Catherine and Caroline, are loving the corn!

Everyone I think really enjoyed themselves and I know the kids did.

Hobbs came in!

We got the luxury of having a great visit with one of John Van's fraternity brothers. It has been several years since they have seen each other and they picked right back up! I love that my husband has kept in touch with so many of his friends.
Brit came to join in on the fun and one of our FAVORITE people AMYB!

I truly love these pictures! When I am having a tough day I just look at these and laugh till I almost cry. My boys are so full of silly moments. This one I just happen to have a camera near by.








Our Annual trip to Charleston

We try and take the boat to visit John Van's best friend Scott every year. This year we got the pleasure of Jake and Rheney. They are friends with Megan and Scott. We met them at the wedding and had a instant love lock!
They are a great couple with lots of love to give. No wonder Scott and Megan talk about them so much:).
We had an amazing visit and loved seeing Megan and Scott as a married couple. Scott made Megan a pinata. She is in PA school and it is really tough. This was his surprise celebration. She didn't want to hit it open so she took a scalpel to open him to get the goodies. Scott filled it with all her favorites. Beef jerky, peanut m&ms, and mini shot bottles of her favorite liquor(a definite need in PA school).

Rheney I found out switched jobs and now works with special needs children. I know what you are thinking? How amazing! I love it when God puts these great gold nuggets in your path. We had great talks and I can't wait to learn so much more from her!














Random Pool Pictures

We are so grateful for our pool. We have been in it more this summer than ever and have really had some cherished moments. Griffin is now putting his head in the water and loves swimming. Gray likes to swim too but he loves to play more. If you get in our pool, watch out for the cold squirt of water from behind. Gray is our master at the water shooters!






Boat trip with Small Group

This trip was amazing. It is so fun to see how much each of us change and grow. We really are like a little family all trying to survive what the world throws at us. There have been many curve ball but most of the time we get to share our wonderful Home runs! Those are the moments that we all cherish and join in in Glorifying God!
If John Van and I ever need ANYTHING these are the men and women we call on!

This time on the boat trip it was Charissa's birthday and her husband surprised her with a gift and a very sweet speech that we ALL got to share in! It was a wonderful thing to be a part of. We all had a great time with great talks. This is a trip that we will cherish every year and I love looking back at the pictures each year. We missed our regulars - Sage and Wes along with Rhett and Farrah. I am hoping that they will be able to join us next year!
