New Milestones

You give kisses away all the time! You are so loving.


You are now going through a stage of crying when I put you down to sleep for naps and night time! I think it my be due to your 4 teeth coming in.

These are the teeth you are getting in and they are listed in order: g,o, f,e . This is a very strange order but I am glad you are getting them in I was a little concerned.


Two nights ago you had your first taste of mashed potatoes and green beans made by your Dee.

You refuse a sippy cup. Mommy will probably buy every kind before you turn 12mo old.

You laugh so much! You are definitely a happy baby!

When I come get you in the mornings you now say momma. This melts my heart!

You still love for me to read to you your two favorites are What makes a rainbow and Mimi's Toes.

You still are not crawling but you love to rock and play peek a boo!

Enjoying Time With Foster

This morning Foster and Griffin ate Breakfast side by side! I love getting these two together!

We then got the boys out shopping!

It was a little cold this weekend! I adore this hat! It brings out Foster's blue eyes.

One last picture before the head back home:( Griffin really enjoys having Foster around. We were both sad to see them leave.

The Human Cupcake!

My good friend Misty had a party at her house! My sister and Foster were in town so they came too!

She decided to give Foster a cupcake to lighten the mood. Who wouldn't want a yummy cupcake right? This is the result when you give a sleepy toddler a cupcake. He went to rub his eyes and that led to : The yummiest adorable cupcake ever! We all laughed until tears started to run down our cheeks! The boys packed up ready for home. They were extremely tired. Sheron and I both had to work at getting them to sleep! They were beyond restless!

Fun Filled Saturday!

JV and I decided to get out Saturday! Our first stop was a pottery place where Griffin, daddy and Myself made Santa a Cookie Platter! Look at these feet! I hope this means he will take after his mommy and be tall!

Griffin did so good! He sat in Daddy's arms so content! He didn't mind the paint at all!

The two that have my heart!

We then ate lunch at a new rib place! It was yummy Griffin had his first taste of Real Chicken and mac and cheese. He didn't like the noodles to much but loved the cheese! He did great on chewing the chicken too!

I think most of all he loved eating his shoe! By the way these weren't the shoes he was wearing just an extra pair for the purpose of chewing!

AmyB then stopped by and we put Griffin in his Christmas sleeper one of many!

Trimming the Tree!

Friday night after a long day of shopping and several naps we decided to keep our tradition of trimming the tree! I love love love this time of year and I hope Griffin will too! Griffin got to put some of the first ornaments on the tree! He then got sleepy and left mommy and daddy to tend to the rest!

This year is going to be so special! We are going to try our best to teach Griffin the real meaning of the special event! You guys can be our ACCOUNTABILITY!

Black Friday Sales!

Isn't this a fun picture? Me and Amy B decided to hit the crowds Early Friday morning for the day after Thanksgiving Sales. We met at 4:30am can you tell?
This is Griffin's first Christmas and he really doesn't know what is going on so this year John Van and I decided that we would help out other families instead. So, to get all the families really good gifts with out spending a fortune we need a strategy! Black Friday it was!

You can't really see all the people but it is the only picture I had. This is ToysRUs and the line was wrapped around to the back of the building this was again at probably 4:45am.

We ended up having great luck! The key was to know what you were going for get it and go straight to the check out. Not to browse! We were done with all of our major shopping by 6:30. The lines really weren't bad at all! AmyB and I decided to make this a tradition every year! If anyone wants to join us let us know!

Happy Thanksgiving!

What a busy day we started off with a breakfast at our Church! Which we loved and will continue to do every year! Then off to see the rest of the Family.

We ended our night with Dee and Pops which was a day full of Thankfullness! We do miss you Papa John and Nana Jan! We are very Thankful for you two as well! We send our love!!

More Operations Christmas!

Hope and Claudia came by Friday to bring a shoe box full of little girl goodies in it! Some little girl will be very happy to receive this box. Claudia seemed to have fun picking out what she wanted to go in it! She is the sweetest little girl. She told us all about her birthday party and a whole lots more! I have never seen her talk so much and Griffin loved it he just studied her every move!

Like I said she is full of sweetness! She gave Griffin a great big hug during the visit and another one before she left. She pronounced his name so well. Most little ones have trouble with the Gr making it sound like Gw but not her. It was so fun to hear her say it! Thanks for coming and taking a part of such a wonderful event!

Day with Santa and so much more!

Today we did so much for your nine month birthday! I think it was because it fell on a Saturday! We went and saw Santa today he was in town waiting to see all the little kidos! Just awaiting there arrival and seeing what was on there list for this year.
You loved it. We got your picture made with him and you were the only one that didn't cry! I went to pick you up and Santa said "He's a good baby!"
The photographer tried to back you into his lap so you wouldn't notice him but I said that wasn't necessary that you would go to anyone! I was right you just looked at him in amazement! I was very surprised that you didn't grab his beard!
You waited a long time to see him and did so well! I can't wait to get them back!

We then met up with AmyB and went to My favorite restaurant in town. You did so good and ate all of your food. Which was a huge 3rd baby food jar of bananas and a 2nd foods of garden veg tables! You just sat there at the table and took the whole environment in! Then you played your sweet little laughing game with me, Sydney Ann and Wes. Which were Charlannes children one of AmyB's best friends! We had so much fun we even ran into Ashley M. and Rod and Whitney they were celebrating her birthday! So much fun!

Happy 9 mo!

My Dearest Griffin,

Today you have officially been out of my belly for as long as you were in my belly! You are 9mo. old today!
You gave mommy the sweetest gift today when you should be receiving the gifts. You said "momma" I can't believe it!!Amy B came over to see you and you were in your jumper roo and out of no where you said it. Just like you had been saying it all along! Me and Amy were so excited and made so much noise it scared you and you began to cry! I have a feeling it will be like that with everything you do. We just get so so so excited we can't help it!

Here are all the cute things you have been doing this past month:

*My favorite is the lean in and kiss me game. I get real close say "I love you" and you lean in to give me a kiss. It is so sweet!
* You now smack your lips together .
* You are getting two teeth in tooth g and n which it totally out of sequence but is still very exciting.
*You play this really cute laughing game where you actually initiate. You have this really loud fake laugh and we return it. You play this all the time and for a least 10- 15min at a time. Tonight we went to a local restaurant and you played it at the table with me. One of AmyB's friends was in town and she just loved it!
*We have just started sign language this month and we started with milk. You haven't gotten it quite yet but you study us and I think you will pick up on it real soon.
* You still haven't mastered crawling. You are just content with rolling to get what ever you want.
* You no longer like for mommy to dress you. If I put anything over your head you stiff your whole body and grunt. Even that is cute to me. I know you have me wrapped!
* We found out you are allergic to Oatmeal. Your face breaks out in a rash. No where else just on your face. Hopefully one you can grow out of because you love it you ate two bowls of it yesterday morning!
*You rock all the time it is so cute!

So may new things! I love you so much! Love, the happiest mommy in the world!

Giggles That Will Make You Giggle!

This isn't the best video clip if I place the camera infornt of him he will just stare and try to reach for it. So I had to put it to the side. It is also very dark but just hearing him giggle is the sweetest!

At the very end of it he leans in to kiss me! This is one of his new things that he does. I get real close and say "I LOVE YOU" and he will lean in for a kiss. I never knew I could have this much love to give!!!!!

Operations Christmas

Tonight I had a hosted a Girls night in hopes of getting in the Christmas Spirit and to focus on the real meaning of Christmas and that is exactly what we accomplished!
AmyB, Misty and Griffin visiting ! Griffin was only up for about 30 mins. He was so tired but I had to keep him awake at least till they all got here. All the goodies! We had Dump Cake, Brownies, pumpkin pie, and cookies! What is better than girl talk and sweets?

The boxes were jammed packed full of all types of things form Hygiene products, to toys and even clothing! And really neat toothbrushes! Wonder were they came from?

We all really enjoyed doing this we decided to make this and annual event. So those of you that missed it mark it on your calenders for next year!

This is the picture we took to put in our boxes! We each thought it would be nice for the kids to see the enjoyment on our faces!

The night was so great we all got to talk baby talk and labor stories. We also discussed what we would and wouldn't do the next go round. We shall see! I love these times and I can't wait till next year when we do it again and have even more stories!

Griffin is finally getting teeth. Funny thing is that it is totally out of sequence! He is suppose to get tooth o and p and he is getting tooth g which is an upper left lateral incisor. He looks like he is pointing to his tooth!

As you can see he has this hat on all the time but it fits him perfect and is great for the weather lately. I also am a huge sucker for hand made apparel.

Everyone always asks who Griffin looks like and I always say I think he is a good mixture well this look-a-like meter agree's with me! Just thought it was neat to see what a computer came up with!

Pecan Festival

We woke up early got ready for the local Pecan Festival! We had to find something warm for Griffin and something that covered his ears! I love this outfit and he was so good he kept the hood on the whole time!

And we are off!
They had all kind of old cars! They were so neat to see!

One Big Happy Family!

Little man enjoyed the band and enjoyed chomping on his pineapple!

The Band was great! They were called the Returns and they were just like the Beatles! They sang Beatles music and looked a lot like them too!

We stopped and got us something sweet after our fatty corn dogs and fried mushrooms. The pumpkin cupcakes were so yummy!
