7 month pregnancy check up!

Today we had another check up at the Doc's office for little Gray! The heartbeat was strong and they actually told me to eat more food! That is always a good sound!
I guess I am just trying too hard to get my blood sugar to stay level! What can I say I am very OCD when it comes to this diet.
I go back and forth on what gender I think Gray is. It changes every day!
I am getting so excited for this arrival! I can't wait! Not too much longer!

Daddy Saves the Snow Day!

Mommy had to work today so Daddy got to take you out to play in the snow! We are so blessed to have the work schedules that we do! You and daddy played for at least 30 min out in the snow! These pictures show that sometimes you weren't quite sure about the snow and other times you were loving it! Daddy said it was really cold but what a special time for the two of you! Thanks Daddy for saving the day!

My New Chair!




My Dearest Griffin,

I can't believe next month you will be having your 2nd Birthday! Daddy and I have mixed emotions. We are happy that you are turning two but then again we are so sad that it happened so quickly!

We had a big day on your 23rd birthday! We woke up dressed you and headed out for your big boy bed! We have kept it as a crib till next month but we are so very excited!

Pops bought you your own recliner! A red one it is so cute! And you think that you are a big boy now! We had a fun filled day but we had to take you to the Doctor's office the next morning you woke up with two swollen eyes! You have a double ear infection. You have only had 3 well days this year so far!

After a full day you had fun in the tub! These are my favorite pictures! I guess b/c no matter what you love your bath!







It was very hard to put your new crib together! It took Pops and Daddy all day!


You didn't seem to mind you kept us entertained by reading to us and playing with your Noah's Ark Puzzle!

First Day at School!

Do you remember when you were so excited for your first day of school and couldn't wait to pick out what you were going to wear? Well, it was just like that all over again for me except it was Griffin's first day not mine. Who says you can't play dress up with a little boy? It is one of my favorite things to do!
I thought that I would have a hard time letting him go but I was more excited than anything! Thank goodness it was only a half day!



I love these sailor pants! I just couldn't wait to put him in them for his very first day! Along with his adorable plaid shoes!


Our way out! Daddy got to take pictures of his big day and we all went to see his classroom! We are so blessed to be able to have the work hours that we do! Especially daddy!

Picking him up! Griffin had a great first day! He cried when I left (as I expected). His teachers Ms Shea and Reva assured me it didn't last long and he did great! He was so happy to see me which will melt any mommas heart!

Diabetes Update!

I have had several e-mails on the diabetes test and again I failed:(
But HONESTLY I am okay with the whole diet. It really is a good diet I am just Thankful I got to eat during the holidays!
I started it Tuesday and have found some really good snacks and my blood sugars have been awesome. A whole lot better than when I was prego with Griffin.
I feel like I can eat more:)
Thanks for all the concerns and sweet prayers. I think I will continue this diet after Gray arrives too. The dietitician and I think that I am hypoglycemic. So after the baby I will still take my blood sugar and continue the diet.

Gray's Little Quarks

Wakes me up at 2:30 am every morning! Sometimes keeps me awake for a whole hour.

Doesn't like Griffin laying on me. Already trying to win time with me!

Favorite Drink Gatorade! The new G2 red and orange

Likes to keep mommy sick - this is the third time!

Is not happy with one position while sleeping. Loves for mommy to switch from side to side.

Likes to settle up high making mommy have a hard time breathing.

We will see if he/she will also like to put me on a diet. We go for the diabetes test tomorrow.

Happy New Year!

We started the New Year off great with a perfect weekend get away with our second family! This group of friends are so caring, loving and the best prayer warriors that anyone could ask for! We loved bringing in the New Year with you guys and hope this will be a tradition for many years!






It was so hard to actually stay up this year being 6mo. pregnant but I was able to do it!

We all decided to stay in and have a family dinner for the new year. The night before Charissa's parents came when the kids went down and we all got to go out to dinner. It was so much fun and almost Surreal! We all had a wonderful dinner and good quality adult conversation. We then ended the night at a dessert and coffee place which is now added to Jv and my top list! We shared some really good stories that made us all laugh. They had the best Blueberry Cobbler I have ever had!

We heard a little mouse down the hall making some noise. So we all went to see what was going on and look what we found. Catherine loves the water and had so much fun in this float! She is such a happy little girl!


Wes made us a scrumptious breakfast to start the last day of the year off! It was yummy! Homemade pancakes,fresh fruit and scrambled eggs!
