Thankful

Today is Thanksgiving and I think this is the perfect holiday! There is no hustle no craziness just family and good food! However, That will all end tomorrow. This year has been the first year in a long time that I am not getting up and fighting the crowds. I will miss that tradition this year with AmyB but I am thankful to be able to not get out of my pj's and decorate our tree.

There are several things that I am thankful for as you see the picture above is of my sweet Griffin. I am thankful for the hyperberic chamber. This is a form of treatment for Autism. It is not scientifically proven to show results but with us it has. We have been going to this treatment for 2 months now and have seen great results.(The yardsale paid a portion of this-so youall had a part in this thanks xoxo)
*He has decreased in Echolalia which is repeating what you say. He actually listens and answers you now.
*He is now turning into our social butterfly wanting to play with every kid he sees! He has even asked to play with Gray on 3 different accounts!
* He is alternating his feet when going up the stairs!
* He has used several new words and phrases-

You got a boogie up your nose? I guess from school
Want to get Gray out of the crib, Want to play with Gray , Want to switch toys with Gray.
Want to give kisses, want to give High Five, Good Job,
Want to go inside I'm thirsty- HUGE!
Usually when someone would say Goodbye Griffin he would say Goodbye Griffin. Now you ask him to say goodbye to someone he will run and find them look them straight in the eyes and say Goodbye Dr or Ms whom ever he is seeing that day! Super exciting!

*Conversations have definitely picked up. He now answers your questions with a specific answer.

* He has a list of new songs he has started to sing. He use to ask me to sing them but One day about a month into the dives he started singing them.

The Rest Of The List:
I am thankful for my sweet husband who is the Glue in the family.
For my two healthy beautiful boys
My sister for her guidance on all of the treatments.
My mom for having to take Gray every Monday and Friday while we do the treatments.
My adorable, lovable, perfect in laws who love my boys to outer space and back. We would be in Mon do Debt to pay for daycare!
My dad for coming and talking in Donald Duck and making the boys laugh so hard their tummies hurt!
For my sister Kristi for loving so hard!
For my brother and his determination to become a Doc!
My two families that pray and love me daily.
My church family and small group who love me like Jesus loves!
My two best friends Kelly and AmyB that I can share anything with and I do mean anything!
The ultimate thing I am thankful for is a given. The love that Jesus shed for me and my family on the CROSS! Thank you for your love. All these earthly things are nothing compared to eternity with you! I am so thankful that Jv and I are your children and will spend eternity with you! Amen

* You know the following body parts: eyes, nose, chin, mouth, teeth, tongue, ears, head, hair, hands, feet, and toes.

* You love to give hugs to all your stuffed animals and even give hugs and kisses to animals in books.

* You love to be extremely loud, love to throw everything!

* You now are eating with a spoon and won't have it any other way!

Love, MOMMY AND DADDY

Halloween School Festival

This year we got to dress the boys up and go to his school for all the fun and games. We had a great time . Griffin loved the basket ball game the best. He loved trying to get it in the basket and got several prizes. We spent all of our tickets there and in the jumpy castle. Gray even got to try the basket ball. We got to see all of his therapist that make our lives easier and help Griffin learn and grow. They are blessings to us. We had a great time and look forward to next year!

Griffin didn't want the paint on his face so she painted a pumpkin on his hand.

Foster's 4th Birthday!

Foster turned 4! He had a great party. His mom set up a carnival theme in the back with all types of games and prizes! Then we got a special visit from our favorite! Cocky!!!! Everyone loved him except for Gray. I hope this doesn't mean crying pictures with Santa? We will see...

We had a great time and everything was Gluten free. So easy for me!

We love you Foster! What a big boy. Thanks for sharing Cocky with us!

Pumpkin Fall Festival!

This year we decided to go pick out our pumpkins during the fall festival. It was fun but very busy. Both boys had a ball. Griffin got to ride the cows behind the four wheeler and Gray will be old enough next year. They both picked out there pumpkins. Gray took forever! He finally picked one out at the very end.
He picked one that was orange with green freckles just his size. Griffin picked a green pumpkin-perfect for a true gamecock fan:)

The jumpy castles were just too big for both of them but they did get to ride the tractor, pick out there pumpkins and ride there individual pony.

Thanks Dee and Pops for coming and seeing them have such a great time!
