Traditions

I am a sucker for family traditions! I want to make a tradition with everything!
I have felt led to help out at the Church on an occasional Wednesday night. My boys are pushed to the max by me doing this, so in return, I have made a fun tradition to stop by McDonalds on this particular Wednesday night to let them enjoy an ice cream cone. It is my way of saying "thank you" to them. They are my little fighters, and givers and never seem to mind when I push them to a day filled with things to do! What could be much better than soft vanilla ice cream? YUM......

FYI-McD's doesn't skimp on their surving size!!! We all could of split one:0)

Weekend Full Of Visits

Our weekend started On Friday leaving the house around 10 and getting to the Zoo around 12. We met up with a sorority sister that is close and dear to my heart. She also has two boys,Price and Owen. The Zoo was packed but soooo much fun! The boys were complete angels and seemed to have a ball. There were some priceless moments that I will Cherish forever. Their very first Icee. Griffin didn't seemed to like it but Gray ,my sweets lover, did. I also loved to see Griffin interact with these two boys. He even held Price's hand! Melting my heart for sure!!

Griffin loved the fish most of all. Which I was glad it seemed to get hot as the day went on!

Stopping for a cookie or should I say the inside of the cookie.

Owen's turn..

Price and Griff holding hands!

Griffin's turn!

The face that says no nap and a sugar high from a cherry icee:O)

We left the zoo went out to eat Mexican with my very dear friends Misty and George. We picked up McDonalds for Griffin and Gray ate a whole Guacamole Dip by himself.

The next morning we woke up played with Bailey, Misty and George's Poodle and then headed for some more fun at the park! The boys had a ball!

Gray loved playing Pee Pie!

Griff played his heart out trying out all 6 different slides!

Gray definitely found a new friend! Sunday morning on the way down stairs he asked about Ms. Misty. It was so sweet!

After we got back from the two visits we headed straight to church for the Parent's night out. I was in charge of the older kids 4th-6th. What a challenge! They were very different from my busy boys but fun none the less. The boys were exhausted and went straight to bed and slept till 8am. We didn't make it to 8:30 but made it to Sunday school!

Muffin's for Mom

Thursday Morning they had Muffin's for Mom at Griffin's school. His other schools have had these as well but we have been unable to attend due to it being on a day he wasn't there or he was sick. So this morning was so special to me. My VERY FIRST muffins for mom day! Griffin thought it was pretty cool too! He had Two muffin's that I made the night before Pumpkin Banana. They were really tasty as you can see Griffin chowing down! The Gluten Free diet has really been a life style change but has grown on us! There is a substitute for just about anything!
Back to our wonderful morning...Griffin even dressed up wearing his Sunday Sports Coat:) We had a great morning and look forward to many more! Love you little guy!
