The Pecan Festival

This years Pecan Festival was the best yet! This was our Third year! The only thing lacking were Noah and his parents. We missed you guys! Griffin loved his time at this festival. We decided to take out the Elmo Harness. This worked great! You are in a stage where you don't want to hold mommy's hand. This way you were on your own but still under my watch. It was the busiest year yet!We even ran into Andy, Rita and Caroline!This year marks a priceless time for your daddy and I!













We stopped to enjoy the really fatty foods! One of the best parts!











Your very first ride! Your Pops took you on the Berry Go Round! You loved it!
You smiled the whole time! This was the greatest seeing you love this ride!










What a big boy you are! You rode the Caterpillar all by your self! We were amazed at how independent you were!











Your Brother Gray was a champ the whole morning! He was so content in his stroller and watching you go! You wanted to help push Gray around all morning and wanted to see what was next! You would say "RIDE" So we went to the next one!










You then went for the biggest ride! The Spider! You and Pops had it all to yourself and you loved it! You had your hands out to the sides like you were laid back taking it easy. You loved it and I have the pictures to show it!










The best ride was saved for last! Riding the strawberry with your mommy!










Next we headed toward the farm petting zoo! You loved the sheep! I think you wanted to jump in the cage and play! You were so sweet and gentle while you pet him. It was so fun to see you looking at all the animals. The lama was a little to tall for you. You pet the goat and tried to get in the cage to reach the chicken the shortly gave up and went back to the sheep.











Now time for the Jumper! It was perfect we ended the morning at the Castle Jumper.
There were three little ones like Griffin waiting to Jump and the Lady just let the three of them in to jump! They were so cute! Gray sat and watched with the cutest gum smile you have ever seen!

My Dear, Dear Gray,

You are 7 months old today. You are now getting your teeth. They are both on the bottom. You eat so much food. You have a least 2 big jars at every meal.
Your favorite is Sweet Potatoes. Your least favorite is Green Peas.

You love to eat frozen bananas which I put in your mesh holders. It is a nice dessert for you.

You are almost crawling! You scoot backwards and are just now getting on all fours.
I think it is just a matter of weeks. You love to roll over to get to what you want.

You say Dada and love to jump in your jumper. You also love to watch your mobile just before nap and bed time. You now suck your thumb to put yourself to sleep.

You are now sitting up with no help. You still smile all the time and love when your brother is near!

You are so laid back which is great because we are always on the go! Just today we went to our weekly visit to Ms. Irene for Griffin and she even stated what a good second baby you were! Mommy and Daddy are so blessed to have such a easy going little fella!

You are a sweet baby boy and I love you so much! Words can not express my love for you little one!

Gluten Free

We found out last week that Griffin has a Gluten Intolerance. Also known as Celiac Disease. So no more breads, pastas, cereal etc. So, now I live at the healthy food store. I have to say that we are blessed to have the selection we do. Within the last three years they have made gluten free possible and some of the stuff isn't so bad taste wise. So if you see us coming to the birthday parties with our own cupcake you will know why. I love these pictures of Griffin they are so sweet and so true to his personality! I am so very blessed to have two beautiful, healthy baby boys!
