Okay! Real funny picture! It was really cold on the way home we both decided to bundle up the best we could. We went a whole lot faster and the temp dropped along with a little mist on the way back! It was so much fun and Rita and I will always have a picture that we can laugh at!

This was an event that I didn't want to leave out of Griffin's baby book!This was several weeks ago! It was a surprise shower for a very special couple in our small group! Sage and Wes they are having there second baby boy! Due any day now. It was a cowboy them hence the names in the family Sage, Wes, Wyatt and the new one on the way Walker!

Yes that is a Mr Eraser! Sage has a fetish with cleaning products and Wes finally cut her off when these came out. So she has never used one. We had this discussion a few weeks prior. So I surprised mommy with a little gift too! Her life is truly going to be so much easier-Thanks to me! HaHa!

Happy 14 Mo!

My Dearest Griffin,

You are 14months today and still continue to amaze me! Here are all the cute things your doing

*Just in the passed couple of days you have learned two body parts! When we ask you were your ear and mouth are you will raise your right hand and place it were they are!

* You squint your eyes together when we say I love you! Sometimes you squint them first to tell us you love us! It is the most priceless thing!

* You love love to be outside!

* You don't want to be held for too long! The only time is at night when we read books or if you are sick!

* You still won't let go of whoever helps you to walk! You walk beside us with one hand! Big improvement!

* You love any and all foods! Anytime anyone has food you want it! You come around with you mouth open like a little bird!

* You still take two naps but I think it will be turned to one soon!

* You are very strong willed, independent and play very well by yourself!

I love you Griffin! We are so lucky to have such a beautiful baby boy!

When Jesus is So Loud

There are many times when we sit and pray and we fill so distant. We often cry out to Jesus asking where are you?? A good friend of mine noticed all that was happening in my life and asked me. "Don't you love it when Jesus is so loud?" It made me open my eyes and say "Yes!"

It has been a busy two weeks but filled with gifts and blessings from above! If you read my last post you all know that we have a contract on our home. It has been bitter sweet feeling. For those of you that don't know this was a house my husband and I built. We picked out the plans on line, changed a few things and put our trust in our contractors. After a long 6months of building our home and living with Dear, Dear friends.(Thank you Katie and Jeffery) We got in our house right before the New year! We have lived in this wonderful home for 3 1/2 years and have made some great memories! We are excited about our upcoming adventure in a new home here in town and can't wait to see where God wants us to be! We are steadily praying that he will put us where he wants us not where we want us! Which is a lot easier said than done!


I now have a new hygiene job here in my home town and will start Monday. This too fell straight out of heaven into my lap! Another dear friend called me and asked me if I wanted a job here in town and I said sure! I really didn't think anything about it because I loved where I worked and it would have to take a Dentist that was outstanding for me to leave. Little did I know I interviewed and after receiving 2 e-mails and 2 phone calls on what a great guy he was I decided to take the job! I looked back and realized that God had sent me 4 messengers to tell me what a great opportunity! My new boss is a believer which is number one in the books and seems to love his family to no end! How much louder can Jesus be?

I have shared with most of you that I have started my own home based business with Arbonne International. I love this company! This company was introduced to me in January and I jumped in with both feet with no looking back. I have promoted to the first level within the first 2 months.(Thanks to all my girlfriends who said YES to hosting a party with no questions asked! You are the ones that got me there!) This month I was top sales in all the Districts! I still have a long way to go in this journey but the opportunity has been amazing!

My life has been unbelievable from childhood to motherhood and I can't thank God enough for it! Of course I have had my storms which is a part of life that only makes us stronger. I have a healthy ,amazing ,little boy a extremely supportive, loving, not to mention unbelievably attractive, husband and a wonderful loving family, church family and girlfriends! Thanks so much for being a huge part of our lives! And and even bigger THANKS for our gracious heavenly father up above who sent his only son to die on the cross for you and me! After having a child of my own this means so much more than it ever has!

A Popeye April Fools

My little man is back to his self again! Come to find out he has had an ear infection. I realized this when I woke up this morning with a child that had a huge swollen right eye! It didn't even look like my son. My heart pitter pattered and after breakfast I put him into my car, called my work to let them know I would be coming in late and headed for the Doctor's office.

We went in, my Doctor was in the lobby.He pulled me back into a room and we found out that my little guy had an ear infection that had lead to his eye? Yes, this can happen! I was totally shocked but relieved that it was something much minor than what was played out in my mind! So we started an antibiotic along with some eye drops and little man is back to his happy, jolly self! He is truly a different child. Back to eating, and entertaining. He loves the attention! We have enjoyed having you back little one!

My Little Fuss Box

Well,

I knew it would happen I just didn't know when! Saturday night we were invited to the monthly supper club with some friends of ours. We got there around 5:30 and Griffin did fine! We played in the play room for the first hour. Then we went down stairs to start getting the meal out and drinks in the cups and Griffin decided to not play his usual social butterfly and start his new role ANTI-social. Every person that walked up to him to say hello he would whale! Not just cry but whale!
So, We had to do take the plunge and head for the house!
Everyone was so sweet they all fixed us plates to take home and said that it didn't bother them at all to stay and eat! We have amazing friends!
We got back home and little man was back to normal! He is getting very in dependant and all he wants to do is walk! I found out that is what he wanted to do while we were there and that was his way of telling me. The only problem is that he can't walk on his own! He loves his wagon that he walks/runs behind. He will get behind it and jet down the halls!
All in all, he is still our amazing gift but he is now our gift with a little sass!

Easter

So, Griffin had 2 Easter Baskets! What happen to that mom inside of me who said she would never spoil her child? It is amazing how much you change with having a child and wanting for them to not go with out? We had a tremendous time visiting with family! Griffin and I were unable to attend Church Service due to his second time being sick. We missed both Easter Egg Hunts due to Cleaning house for it to show! Which paid off we now have a contract!(Hince the lack of updating the blog!)
The other Hunt was scheduled for Saturday and he wasn't feeling well.
Easter Sunday he seemed better but I knew the nursery would be packed and I didn't want anyone else to wonder why a child full of sniffles and coughs were taking to the nursery!







He actually went straight for the baskets! I was surprised!



He pushed everything out the way and he grabbed the book! We are still amazed at how much he likes them!


He had not had too much to eat due to being sick. Good Ole Pops came to his rescue with a cupcake! I didn't mind I was just gald to see him eat something!


We did find time to head out side and He loved it! He isn't walking on his own yet but He loves hold on and walk! So I think it will just be a matter of time!

As far as the easter egg hunt goes. We did have one inside Dee and Pops house! It was fun! He found them all! Thanks Dee and Pops for once again opening your home and cooking such good food!

Happy 13 mo!

My Dearest Griffin,

You are 13 mo old today! You have changed so much in the last month it is truly amazing! Here are the sweet things that your are doing:

* You now pull up on everything! And I mean everything! You still army crawl and then when you get close to the place you want to pull up you crawl on all fours?

*You eat anything we give you. This month you have had corn dog, spaghetti O's, Turkey Sandwich, yogart, ice cream, muffins, Your very first BO-BERRY Biscuit!(mommy's fav), orange, marshmallows and much more to come!

* Just yesterday I gave you a juice box and you found out how to squeeze it! Let's just say you and mommy had your first food fight with juice! You didn't realize what you were doing but mommy sure got a kick out of it!

* You new word is Pops you say it all the time and are now making a "n" sound more often.

* You are now holding your own sippy cup which is great! You would hold your own bottle so young but the sippy cup was different to you for some reason!

* Dee and Pops said that you said the word Juice yesterday. I have still yet to hear it so it doesn't become an official word till mommy hears it!

My favorite thing is that you have become a little more of a mommas boy in the last two weeks! Which just makes me smile! You reach for me, crawl to me pull on my pant leg, look up and say momma! That would make any mom cry with happy tears! You are such a delight and I can't wait to see what next month brings! I love you! Mommy!

Lil' Gator Fun!

This was a birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy. I thought you would be too young. Boy was I wrong! You have had a blast with this. You hop off and on when you want and know which button to make it go. It has been so much fun watching you! You are amazing!

A Wedding Delight

This past weekend we had a fantastic night at one of our very good friends wedding here in town. We had a gret time! It is one of our favorite things to do!
She was a beautiful bride! I can't wait to see this amazing couple grow! JV and I wish you two the best!

First Sonic Drink!

We got out and enjoyed this beautiful day that the Lord gave us!
We then had to stop by the Sonic for a nice cold milk shake! Mommy's favorite! Peanut Butter Fudge! Griffin has been drinking out a straw lately, so he grabbed it and it was love from then on! I didn't give him too much but he would of drank the whole thing If I would of let him!
